So I tried the trial version. I was able to edit my AVCHD video with ease on my Windows Vista machine. Lots of transitions pretty good user interface, added sound channels easily, etc. Very nice!! Then I tried to create a DVD. Crashed on menu chapters and several other items. Was not able to burn DVD directly. After a couple hours of trying many different options and re-starting it every few minutes I was finally able to create an .iso image and then burn a DVD off that image file using another program. Still was not able to get chapters to work correctly among other features. Wasn't able to get Movie Wizard or DV-to-DVD to work at all.
