Power Producer is a scaled-down version of our top-ranked product, PowerDirector. It can capture video from digital or analog camcorders and burn to CDs and DVDs, but does not include as many advanced editing features as PowerDirector.

The program has the ability to add music to video and can import images and create slideshows. You can also add color inversion, trim, merge, split scenes, create menus, and add backgrounds and titles. The Write-to-Disc feature enables you to simply capture, convert and burn a CD or DVD in one step without edits.

Although this software package lacks some advanced features, it is a solid program that includes all the basic editing functions and supports a wide array of formats.
