Pros: Open timeline allows direct dragging and dropping of video, audio and effects. Captures streaming video directly from a digital camcorder and can burn directly to DVD. Vast number of output formats which can be recorded to just about any media.
Cons: Some specific editing tools can be difficult to find and learn without some practice. Lacks ability to stabilize or refocus video.
The Verdict: A great improvement on an industry standard. Versatile and generally easy to use.
